Did you find watching the Mokaev bout entertaining?

I see the discourse on reddit and they are creaming themselves over how it was so amazing. A suplex, scrambles, etc. For me it was a boring wrestlefucking until the last 30 seconds. Is it just people have rose colored glasses with the UFC product?

It was good but not amazing - first round had some cool stand-up exchanges to start, then Mokaev settled into a top-position/control-based fight.

It almost bit him in the ass as Gordon started timing reversals and hunting RNC's but he was able to force scrambles and create some fun grappling exchanges prior to the sub.

Definitely not a fight to re-watch (outside of the finish), but it was a solid fight for a 22-year old prospect getting in his 3rd fight in 6 months.

Now the Rosa/Lansberg fight was far more boring and uneventful outside of the last minute of the fight when they were gassed throwing haymakers.

It was a bit bewildereding to see his opponent just accept the losing position constantly. Some fun scrambles in round 3 and a finish so it was a pretty meh fight.

mokaev was contasntly try for the finish, gordon actually did very well off the back.

very technical and entertaining display of grappling.

I can't even pay attention to any of these guys. I usually only look up if I hear cheers or commentators yelling. I haven't seen much of this card yet.
