Did Werdum develop a glass chin from all the hard sparring?

I mean that punch from Miocic was really short with barely any power behind it as he was moving backwards. The only reason it had some power behind it was because Werdum was diving right into it, it didn't even rock him, it put him out cold.

He developed a glass chin from fighting a polished boxer and thinking he was a better striker.

Plus people need to realize that every fucking heavyweight pretty much hits like a truck.

Stipe landed clean right before the final blow

Any chin that he had left is gone thanks to his fight IQ last night.

That's what happens when you're 38, have been pro for 15 years, and regularly participate in gym wars with no gear.

He should retire.

Shot would have put out any version of him though.

Nah, he got clipped flush, by a heavyweight with really good hands. Plus he was running right INTO the shot at the same time.

Awesome, let's begin the "Werdum is Past Prime, Shot with a Glass Chin" discussions now!

I never had the impression that he had a good chin, wasn't surprised that his glass chin got shattered.

He ran into a punch face first flailing his arms around trying to hit Stipe...
this is a stupid thread.

Idc who you are... Werdum,Hunt, Nelson... anybody

If you sprint directly into a Miocic right hand...you will sleep

No.

Getting tagged cleanly while charging does bad things.
This. Makes the punch about twice as hard as it otherwise would have been. It was a very well timed, clean, accurate strike. It just got a little extra oomph added onto it because Werdum was running recklessly towards it.

Umm. Werdums chin is fine. Stipe hits like a truck. That shot flattens pretty much anyone on the planet, Mark Hunt included.

He developed a glass chin the moment he threw his face into Miocics fist

What is it with all this glass chin nonsense?! A fighter gets knocked out by an accurate shot right on the sweet spot and all of a sudden he has a glass chin. Can people really be this dumb?

No shit, Werdum ran right into the punch face first. That's adds a lot of force.

No he charged into the punch like bald bull. It reminded me of when Steve-O ran into Tyson's fist. I'm sure the reaction that William Shatner had that night was similar to Werdum's corner.

Maybe it's because Miocic punches hard? Over 70% of his wins have come by KO/TKO.

Why are you surprised that Werdum got KTFO'd by a guy that finished Mark Hunt?
