The aura was bigger back then the way i remember.
There's more buzz around where I zm for 200The aura was bigger back then the way i remember.
No, there wasn't nearly as much main stream coverage and the loss of Jones with Anderson Silva replacing him has caused even more intrigue. There are so many wild cards on this card that it's far more interesting. Compare the prelims and the final two fights of the main card. I mean the cards themselves aren't even close 200 blows 100 out of the water. The sport is bigger. More eyes are on it. So is the aura the same it was for hardcore fans as it was back then, maybe not... we have all been a little jaded by oversaturation and 202 may be just as special as this. That being said to the casual or non MMA fan who is just a sports fan, this event is far bigger than anything we've ever seen before. I still expect it to beat 100's buy rates. The gate will be bigger. The main stream coverage will dwarf that of 100. So aura is an abstract concept but interest will be far more wide sread and as far as what Aura means to me, the fact that there is so much unkown going into this one gives this a better more intriguing aura. How was the sherdog community back then? I watched the UFC but wasnt aware of sherdog at the time, were the forums as active as they are now?
You what mate?Sherdog was very popular in 2002 when I first became aware of it.
In 2016, info seems to hit this forum before ALL the big sites like MMAJunkie and MMAWeekly.
Not really close. 100 was really big but the UFC was a shadow of what it is now. Which makes the card amazing as it sold,so we'll then. Now this card will do 2 million even with no Bones.
You what mate?
