I know he showed a picture of his foot but it really did just look like it was bruised but I'm no doctor. If I was him I would have posted a picture of the X-ray because he obviously had one unless he just had the doctor look at it and say, "yup that's broke". You would think he would have a picture of the break considering him pulling out is a money lost and an annoying thing to face when fans and Conor are going to say he faked the injury.

Yeah, it certainly makes a lot of sense for the LW champ to put the belt on the line with a nearly broken foot. His movement in the octagon will be a sight to behold.

I don't see why RDA would want to drag it out because next time there's more time for a world tour, more pressure, more a spectacle and RDA may very well be out of his element and more so than he was before this injury.

It's from RDA's and his wife facebook personal account. Someone posted it on Reddit. I just find it ridiculous fans demanding proof of athlete's injuries, esp. considering some fans demand proof from some athletes but are more than happy to accept the words from others.

I am actually always more skeptical of those claims than guys who miss the biggest payday of their lives. One increases your profile and one costs you your profile and millions of dollars. All of these guys are fighting with some kind of pain, etc. My freestyle wrestling coach used to ask "are you hurt or are you injured? If you're hurt, hurt him back. if you're injured see the trainer."

As mentioned and posted in the thread there is x-ray image as well as a photo of his foot. I don't think RDA needs to prove he is not ducking McGregor, as that only makes sense for people who don't understand anything.

Doesn't seem like an effective way...why post ALL the other exterior pics on his fan page, twitter, instagram then post that one on his "personal" account that in private? Just doesn't make sense. And it isn't every injury but when you pull out of a huge fight on short notice people are going to think something of it. Werdum happens to get injured right after Cain which seems sketchy. Aldo pulled out with a bruised rib. There are certain circumstances where questions need to be asked because it's not out of the question that someone would pull from a fight. I just find it odd that I could find every foot picture but had to dig and find a brazilian article citing Dos Anjos' second facebook page that no one can view and posted publicly last on 2015. Just doesn't make sense to show all the other pictures but not the actual proof of the break ya know??

Some fans demand proof from Brazilian athletes when they have an excuse and don't for other athletes. Because of a history of suspicious excuses.
 
This is where we are now? Pro athletes have to release their medical info because reasons.
