Not sure, but all I know is that he was great in The Place Beyond the Pines.

btw, I read something the other that the whole 'your metabolism slows down when you hit 40' is more of a myth than reality.

People gain weight as they age because they're less active (and maybe eat more, of course). It's as simple as that.

Welcome to Earth my fellow Sherdoggers humans age with time ....................................... I know what a discovery.

Still the point is some age better than others. It isn't just about wrinkles but how you maintain your body.

Of course not everyone can look great at that age but the ones posted here were very unflattering

Pretty much. Living a more sedentary lifestyle and probably eating junkier, more convenient foods.

Of course most people think the extra weight is just part of old age so they don't actively try to be active and stay healthy.

Pretty much. It does "slow" down, but the rate isn't by much. Your TDEE is off by about 100-200 calories as you get older. Its just as we're older we have more responsibilities (career, family, investments, etc) so training gets put on the back burner

its not a myth its a reality as your body ages processes slow down and you lose testosterone (making you sleep more and feel less active)

You'll gain 30lb a year if you eat the same in middle age as you did in your 30s.

IT's called getting old.

Just remember, in the future if you're really special, people will be making threads about how badly you have aged.

there's literally 2 choices here.
1)get old
2)death

surprisingly, most people prefer option 1. crazy, huh.
