Dude he was literally walking around like a sloth at one point. His energy bar was beyond negative.

I don't think Ive ever seen someone in his state go 5 rounds.

Stipe clearly feared that KO power all the way to the end. I mean dude was in a walking coma.

Was probably correct to do so, even in that state he still managed to connect with a heavy shot that hurt Stipe (around round 3?). Why take maybe a 10% chance you get finished with a lucky shot if you can play it safe and be 100% sure of getting the win.
