Okay now for the topic at hand. Did mr feeney live next door our behind the Matthews.

I say next door, as it’s a side yard. I say that because people have come home and walked in from that side yard. Also the small fence. My wife thinks it’s behind because of the door from the kitchen. But houses don’t really have two stairs like that do they? We got side tracked with that argument. Anyway , I think the house layout is just oddd and the behind the house is actually faces the other wall not the one with the door.

Here’s the cast take on it.

What say u?

Its the backyard.

When you go into the house you go straight thru the kitchen that leads outside to the back yard.

In the script it says side but that wouldn't make sense.

Which led to his treehouse

The next room is the kitchen which led to outside and to Feenys house.

When Mr. Feeny house is tp it is all over the part that faces Cory’s house. So it has to be side. You can’t tp the back of a house.

Yes I see your point.

@Moretti

You can certainly TP someone's back yard.

Why would you have a treehouse on the side of the yard? Feeny had a garden which is traditionally kept in a back yard.

Or common sense. If you walk thru the front door you see the fire place straight ahead and the kitchen, on the left is the staircase and the side door. On the right is the camera and studio audience lol

Okay fine I surrender. He lived behind.

I just never known kids to tp the behind!

You win. That shit was Eric Banal AF.

Is this really a thing?

Unless they have tiny gardens, feeny lives to the side.

Mr. Furley lives downstaris where the Rooers used to live.

You have a tree house where there's a tree. There typically isn't much room on the sides of a house as developers put them as close together as possible. In some cities, there is hardly room to walk between buildings. Those cities usually have alleys that people access the house from the back side where garages were.

Building codes were changed to prevent this as fire spread easily from building to building. Local codes here don't allow building within10 feet of the side and rear property line and require a 20 foot setback from the front/street side in residential areas.

Television shows rarely deal in reality. They just want the convenience of characters being in close proximity and don't always deal with the logistics.
