Media Did Megan Anderson Retire Too Early?

Not at all. Her soul and fighting spirit were already taken by Amanda Nunes before the fight even started. There's no coming back from that

yeah i remember seeing this live and just the look on Megan's face says it all. she's scared shitless.
cant hate though because she went in and faced the WMMA GOAT, even if she didnt last long. takes guts to do. Nunes absolutely bulldozed her.

to answer the thread question, no she retired at the right time. UFC women's featherweight was never that serious of a division. and i dont think she wouldve fared very well against pre-UFC Kayla or Larissa Pacheco in the PFL.

she was one of those dummies that sits on the UFC ranking panel

put volk over islam P4P because he 'looked good while losing to him'
Well I support that decision because that was a P4P ranking and not a LW ranking. Islam had an advantage because he is bigger.

If they rematched at FW Volk would have won because Islam would have had to chop off a leg to make weight.

well she's a wahmang's 145er which means even decades from now and she's an old bag.. she'd still be single digit ranked in her division... even if she came back n lost 100 in a row she'd still be single digit ranked in her division

... who are you to say a top 9 fighter should retire?

she gave up before she even entered the octagon vs nunes. it was a good idea to quit when she did.

I mean it was either retiring, going back to Invicta or getting fed to Kayla or Pacheco. UFC didn't want her nor any of the other WFWs anymore and she was very limited. She's one of the smarter fighters for bowing out when she did if anything.

The second you stop giving %100 into training and fighting, you should retire.

After Nunes destroyed “deer in the headlights” Anderson, Megan commented on this.
agreed. When it looks like if you got startled, you will pee, and you are a professional fighter it is best to retire and become a coach/trainer or do something different.

Yes but with the division at the time likely to go and zero chance of her making the weight class below.

The fights she would get would be limited and if she got any, would likely not move the needle as her opponent would probably be uninteresting.
