Right after he lost to Matt Serra, he had a great streak of wins against.

Are we just saying that’s when he *reached* his peak, or that was the entirety of it? I think he reached his peak in that timeframe, but I consider peak GSP to have lasted until the knee injury (after the Shields fight). Like 2008-2011 or so would be peak GSP.

GSP vs Pitbull was the best display of perfect timing for takedowns that i have ever seen.

We are talking about a Thiago Alves that was able to stuff basically all takedowns tried by Kosheck/Matt Hughes/Karo
Agreed. The Fitch and Alves wins were beyond impressive. Honorable mention for obliterating Trigg in the manor that he did, back when he was still Rush.
