Did Fedor say Pride don't want he was the champion?

i read these few time ago...and don't know what means....
did he want to say pride wanted he loss the belt? he is very kind with sakakibara to be real these afirmation...

Yes. He said that they would rather crocop become the champion because he was more popular. Normal for any promoter to think this way.
They always gave Fedor a fair shake as far as I could tell, he is still working with Sakikabara today so that tells you something.
