Did Dom know thet Cody had to borrow his red tie?

I thought this was hilarious. On Embedded they show that Cody forgot his tie and had to borrow one, then Dom starts making fun of the tie saying he will choke him with his little red tie lol. Did he know Cody wasn't wearing his own I wonder, or does he have an ability to exploit your secret insecurities?
