There's a lot of shit answers in this thread, lol.
It won him six title fights, and he was getting hit under a 30 percent clip. I’d say it functioned well.Everyone talks about his footwork but all I ever saw over the past several years was shit footwork. Dude basically just did a figure '8' for his circling and everyone says he some foot god. Don't really remember much of his early fights when he was in his actual prime. Prob same type of movement.
Yeah.. I enjoyed that fight. Cruz was an overrated pillowfisted pointfighter.
I was wanting Cruz to win, wasn’t a big fan of anything from TAM at the time. But it have it give credit where it’s due, Cody put on the performance of a lifetime that night.Yeah.. I enjoyed that fight. Cruz was an overrated pillowfisted pointfighter.
Cruz is one of my all time favorite fighters and I think Prime Cruz would be champion today. The injuries messed up what should been an all time GOAT career.Don’t disrespect the bantamweight goat.
Don't know if Cody figured him out or he slowed enough due to injuries an age to start to get timed. Could tell in fights leading to Cody he wasn't the same and didn't have same quickness. Like mentioned with his style dependent on quickness it was matter of timeHe got old
But his body was failing him before that. Only Cody figured him our. Everone else had time on their side. In my opinion.
Tearing an ACL is rough enough in itself but when you combine it with his fighting style it's basically a career death sentence.
