Yet Conor's hardcore fans act like Poirier is a great win, as if he'd be on the same level as Frankie.

Frankie, Ortega and Cub are above all the FW's Conor fought, except for Holloway who was very green at the point.

To be honest he did beat Mendes and Aldo for the belt who were the two best in the division at that time. Either way he did rob Frankie of a fight but the past is the past and we can't do much now.

you could say he wasn't given some fights due to styles like Jeremy Stephens but the only fight at FW you can say he did avoid is Frankie Edgar

Poirier at FW, Siver or Max who was 3:2 at the time they fought aren´t the elite of the division, a 2-weeks-notice Mendes isn´t as well.

And after that shithole of a promo-tour EVERY fighter would be angry. Aldo has lost the fight in that moment Conor got under his skin. And fuckin Dana was laughing about every "joke" of Conor was disgusting!

If he had fought Cub and Frankie or at least a full-camp-Mendes we could talk about it.

He was a legitimate no. 1 contender who beat the champ but he far from cleaned out the division.
