Hypothetically Leon could’ve avoided it, if he said “finish your interview, we’ll discuss this later” or “finish your interview, I didn’t mean to stop your interview”. The point that I’m making is that Leon wasn’t on a one ticket to being sucker punched, just because he existed. After he told him to shut up during his interview, he could have still carefully talked his way out of it.

Bottom line: I disagree with the Leon incident and can’t passionately explain Jorge’s actions. However the Colby incident was different. Jorge doesn’t swing on him, if he would have left his parenting out of the trash talk.

Remember that Leon grew up as a street dude as well. He might be quiet now; but I imagine that when push comes to shove he’s not going to stop and become a peacemaker.

So I always thought this was a bit cowardly on Jorge's part. Sucker punching someone for trash talk. Mostly because they had a chance to fight in a regulated environment and Colby handily won

Then i saw things from a separate factor. If Colby's words were potent enough did they deem a counter attack? Whether stealth or not. I've heard that Jorge lives by a code and he carries an answer. There was nothing tough or cool about what he did. He had 25 minutes to get even with Colby, and he got 50-44’d. You shouldn’t have to expect to get blindside and assaulted in public because it’s the fight business.
