Some you believe Fedor is the "Standard," and according to you, after 10 years of damage the "Standard" was out of his prime, and that is why was KO'd by a MW (LOL).

Let us apply this to Frankie Edgar: His first professional fight (according to Wikipedia) was in 2005, and he is now 36 years old.

This means, Brian Ortega beat a Frankie Edgar who was 3 years passed his prime, but then, why is a fighter 3 years passed his prime challenging for the championship?

The guy loses 1 fight and that = out of his prime?

Even if true, without a cristal ball, its impossible to tell at this point

respectfully, go fuck yourself

His next fight will say everything. He looked great up until he got rocked.

His 30 plus with over 10 years of experience. According to Fedor fans, a fighter is "out of his prime" at this point.

36 year old Featherweight who is 13 years into his career and has been in countless wars?

Yeah I think it's fair to say he isn't in his prime anymore.

Let's say Fedor wasn't past his prime when he lost. That means his legacy is, after going undefeated for 10 years(longest noteworthy streak in MMA history), being the #1 HW in the world for over 7 years(longest reign a top any division in MMA history), being a universally recognized top 3 P4P fighter for 2660 days(longest in MMA history), compiling more quality wins than any fighter not named Silva or GSP, more top 10 wins than any HW other than Nogueira, the most top 5 wins in HW history, the most wins over #1 & #2 HWs in history, and winning 7 #1 HW championship fights(most in HW history).

He lost to 2 top 10 HWs(one that is a UFC champion and universally recognized as a top 5 all-time HW and another that was a UFC championship challenger and that holds wins over top HWs Overeem, Arlovski, Browne, and a draw against Hunt) and a top 10 LHW(who just so happens to be universally recognized as one of the 10 greatest mixed martial artists of all-time). Those are his 3 legitimate "prime" loses. Yeah, you're right. He sucks.

And yes, I'm going to keep posting this in every one of your and 3schmucks, "Fedor wasn't past his prime threads".

Well... the downfall has to start somewhere.. Frankie has a lot of miles of him. Been in a lot of wars. It catches up with everyone eventually.

you cant attribute a fighters prime to a formula
<JagsKiddingMe>

Fedor fans are grasping at straws if they really claim that

I don't believe so. Frankie looked great until the elbow Ortega landed.

It goes both ways. Some athletes are past it before 30 some at 45. Everyone is different.

Well, Frankie hasn't had a steady decline in performance leading up to the surprising loss. He looked great and got caught. This may be the one that sparks a serious decline though.

absolutely not. frankie has looked just as good in his past two fights. he dominated yair and sure, even though he almost got ko'd by a jeremy stephens head kick frankie still rallied back to take a clear decision. just because its the first time we've seen frankie go down like that doesn't mean he wasn't in his prime
