I don’t think the plan was for him to be a heel. The dude he fought had a personality and the late choke had the crowd turn on swagger. Swagger was doing a media tour all week in Chicago and said nothing heelish

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt unless it happens again. I can buy that he couldn't tell whether it was the opponent or the ref pulling on his arm and then he released the hold when the ref finally said "Stop".
