I have been watching MMA for several years now and opened the reasons I got into the sport was because of Rampage's popularity at the time. I became a big fan when he first beat Chuck back in Pride and have watched him ever since. I would consider my all time favorite along with Lawler and I was always fascinated with how well rounded he was in Pride, though he adopted a much more striking centered attack when he came to the UFC. Did anyone else used to be/still is a big fan?

I was up until a point. He became a drama queen like Tito a couple years back.

It's a shame he never wanted to evolve too...

I'm a huge fan, I certainly don't consider him to be at a truly elite level anymore, his motivation seemed to disappear after Jones tooled him. He also had that crazy car chase but I'll be a fan of his no matter what. He's one of the GOAT at light heavyweight, no doubting that and he's fought the who's who of 205.

I did. Now it's a love/hate sort of thing.

I started liking him less when he started getting REALLY whinny about everything (well more then usual) but is still can't help but cheer for him in most of his fights

My all-time favorite fighter, will always be a fan, seeing him slam Arona on a YouTube KO compilation is the reason I started watching MMA.

Rampage as a fighter, I'll watch. But I think he has the gift of acting and should forget fighting at his point.

He was excellent in A-Team.

I liked him in Pride up until shortly after he beat Chuck the 2nd time.

Then his act and childishness wore very thin on me.

In the older days I would of recruited him to fight by my side, but today he has no heart. Who was once a champion, a terror, a destroyer of people's will is now nothing more than a nerd, playing his interactive games.

It's called getting old don't be so ignorant

I was. But then I realized how boring his current fights have been. After KOing wand he had a lot of boring fights

No. No one likes a huge former Pride, UFC and Bellator star. You're the only one.

Same boat for me. I was telling people for years fighters in Pride would handle Chuck and Rampage finally proved me right. Between that and his HL reel slams I was a pretty big fan of his for a while. But he is just a bully dick and honestly not even really that funny. You can only hear him tell people their breath stinks so much before you start to realize that's all he really has. Then add to that bullying little Jew nerd Ariel around, practically raping female reporters, and his high speed chase and I gradually started liking him less and less. On top of that his style started to regress to that of a plodding boxer, rather than the terror in Pride who won by knees, slams, elbows, and gnp.

Definitely was back in the day.. Getting into the mid 2000's pride had a ton of awesome fighters, Rampage being one of them. Was always disappointed with how he ended up performing in the UFC onward, but, I like the guy still. He's fun.

Do you like dragons?
