I would say Nick Diaz has a better chance against Weidman than Carmont, Costa, and Boetsch. Diaz would lose to Souza, Belfort, Machida, Weidman, and Mousasi. I would watch all those fights.
 
No point in making a "Fighter A vs Chris Weidman" thread on Sherdog. The amount of people who hopped on his bandwagon after he won the belt is insane. Weidman fickle fans would even make a delusional argument that somehow he'd beat Cain or JDS too.

It's almost like people were impressed by him destroying the guy people have been calling the best fighter in the sport for years, twice.

It's not that part that makes me laugh, it's half the fan base he has now were writing him off BEFORE the first fight. Now all the doubters are pretending they somehow called a KO and suddenly claiming to be huge fans since the beginning. A couple people actually predicted and had confidence in the first fight, and most others jumped on the bandwagon and made new accounts "supporting" Weidman.
 
Between Nick becoming WW champ, defending the belt enough a fight with Weidman gets mande AND winning... We're talking a 1 in a billion chance here.

IMO the top 5 MW( Weidman,Belfort,Machida,Mousasi & Souza) would manhandle Nick

Nick has nothing for Weidman or anybody in the top 15-20 at MW. He's overpowered by strong WWs. MW is a whole different animal. Weidman in particular is an AWFUL match up for him.
