Everybody that's bitching about not seeing it. Who's to say we won't get to see Nate welcome him to 155 and send him down the ladder after his failure of defenses.

I don't think there will be any defence. And fighting Nate at LW spells the end of Conor. Didn't defend, and lost to Nate at LW. What fight could they actually make that any sane person would want to see ?

This is post is for haters or lovers.They want the fight I'm sure we see at 155 as a welcoming party
 
The only reason I want it to happen is so that Nate gets paid what I feel he's owed after being hosed for so long. If it happens, I'd prefer it at 155.

Other than that, I'd rather see them fight other people. I'd rather see Conor fight a lower tier LW who isn't such a bad matchup for him to gauge how his skills stack up in that division. If he can give Nate trouble for any length of time I can't help but think he'd be trouble for other LW's that don't have Nate's boxing, BJJ, length, chin, and cardio.

Edit: As a fight fan, I think Conor vs Cowboy would be fantastic. As a Diaz fan, I'd rather see Nate collect that check, haha.

Then the question remains if not Nate who then at lw.

I agree with the paid part but if he Conor wants that fight he will have to do it at 155.I think his 170 days are over.

That's true. I was looking at it from a matchup standpoint. Cowboy has a threatening kicking game and is very good on the ground, but Conor might be able to handle it and I think for sure Conor could find Cerrone's chin, I'm just not sure if he could crack it and get him outta there. The lead up to the fight would also be entertaining.

As for lower tier LW's, hmmm... I don't know. The UFC would want to match him against someone who's already fairly popular.
