He's going to make weight easily, then beat Bendo. Not a big deal at all

Nate was a pound over at first when he weighed in against Cerrone...this is less weight to lose and he destroyed Cerrone the next day.

I'm not being defensive. I've called fighters unprofessional for not making weight plenty of times. It is idiotic, though, to call someone unprofessional when he actually makes weight.

He has two more hours. No one is bending any rules. He will make weight.

I've wrestled and coached wrestlers for the past 25 years. I know a thing or two about making weight. Until I started coming around Sherdog I've never, in my life, heard of someone being badmouthed because he uses his full time allowance to make the cut. I've seen guys who use the extra time every single weigh-in of their lives (some guys use it as a planned tactic to ensure that they don't overshoot and cut too much or make weight too early and stay dehydrated for too long while waiting around for weigh-ins).

A professional makes weight. Period. But he doesn't have to do it on your time schedule. He just has to do it within the time allowance provided.

Let's hope this is the case. My only concern is seeing both guys at their peak, so we can know who the better fighter is.

Seems like not even his brother Nick knew about the 155lbs limit. :)
What's wrong with these guys?

Of course he is, even the example he used has already been stated in this thread before his post. Acts like he knows it all but then blames Nate for being .6 over like that's not his trainer's responsibility to know that .

Nate probably should have known it as well but he hires trainers, managers and attorneys to handle things he may not understand for a reason.

Please quote where I had blamed Nate. That's what I thought. Learn how to read.

You should never start a sentence with the word "and." Move along, junior.

And where did you pick up this misguided notion? James Joyce started many sentences with "and" and he's the greatest novelist whose works I've never read.

In Gracie's defense, he doesn't have a lot of experience with UFC title fights :icon_lol:

Bwahahahaha.

Cutting weight is cutting weight. You don't need to be in the UFC to know how to cut weight. But you do need to know how to cut weight to be in the UFC.

Most people who cut weight aren't professionals. I cut weight for the better part of 20 years as an amateur!
