Undefeated boxing phenom Devin "The Dream" Haney, 19-0 (13KO), will headline his second straight Shobox on September 28th from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California. Haney's opponent has yet to be solidified, but there have been rumblings that the world rated teenager could be fighting for the vacant IBO title

19-year old Devin Haney is considered one of the games best prospects. Coming off his ninth round stoppage of Mason Menard on May 11th, he will be making his return to ShoBox on September 28th at Pechanga Resorts and Casino in Temecula, California, BoxingScene.com has been advised.

Haney (19-0, 13 KO's) will be facing former title challenger, Juan Carlos Burgos (33-2-2, 21 KOs) in a lightweight contest. Rounding out this triple-header is a rematch between lightweights Thomas Mattice and Zhora Hamazaryan, who met on July 20th on ShoBox and it was Mattice winning a highly disputed split decision after eight rounds. Rounding out the telecast will be a super middleweight bout between Cem Kilic and Donnie Marshall.

This card will be the first for Devin Haney Promotions which was just licensed in the state of California.

I'm stoked for this card. I never miss a Shobox to begin with, and Haney really impressed me against Menard. I'm glad to see Zhora get the rematch and and the third fight is two undefeated guys. Thank you Showtime!

Burgos was a genuinely solid fighter about half a decade ago when he got robbed against Martinez and gave a half-decent account against Garcia. He's still relatively young, but his complete inactivity against anyone good for the last number of years brings up big questions about his current quality. Regardless, he's a reasonable opponent for Haney at this stage.

I can't wait in the future to see him, Shakur & Ryan fight each other

I'm going to try to find somewhere to watch it. Thanks for the heads up. I like Haney.

Expecting another domination. The fact that this man was even able to stand in the same ring with Menard and not disintegrate was remarkable. Then to close out the show... damn. That's Clinton Woods level shit.

Haney's the goods guys. He fo real.

Haney is a huge favorite, I went ahead & put a little dough on Burgos. I just dont think he should be such a huge dog against this 19 year old.
