That would actually be pretty hilarious to see, though I do believe DC is a BJJ brown belt.

I’d bet my left leg (cemetary) that DC knows the ins and outs of grappling and BJJ is a part of that. It would be fun to see him in a no-gi grappling event!

I hope Lewis cracks him with a thunderous right, but I guess DC shoots a single early and wrestles Black Beast to the ground, pummels him for a round and finishes him in the second via grapplefest.

In all seriousness, DC can't afford to make a single mistake in this fight, no matter how ginormous the skill gap is between these two.

Lewis can KO anyone dead with a single punch, and oddly enough, he carries that power even when being gassed the F out.

Pretty sure DC will see them hammers coming a mile away, especially after the first few rounds (if it makes it that far).

I'm not saying I'm 100% sure that Lewis will KO Cormier, anyway.

Lewis' size is going to be a problem, also Lewis' power and brute strength which could lead to an injury easily if Cormier decides to put a high pace on Derrick which he probably will. He isn't Volkan.

Obviously Daniel is the more skilled fighter and rightfully the favorite, I just have a weird feeling about this fight as a huge Cormier fan.

I think if anyone is going to beat DC at heavyweight it's Ngannou, Blaydes, or Volkov. I think that DC took this fight because Lewis already beat Ngannou (not really) and Volkov, and Lewis has a broken hand so it'll help his legacy. I think that DC tends to lean to the right and left and move his head down and his opponents throw a lot of straight shots if Lewis wants to catch him push him against the fence in the first two minutes during the feeling out process and throw an unorthodox left uppercut.
