Not buying the Holland hype just yet as Souza is like 5 years or more past his prime but it is a good fight and a good test. I'd be down to see it in the main card of a PPV. Not gonna waste my weekend on a fight night main event with garbage card. Fuck you Dana.

Why do Americans inject race into anything anyone says? It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with listening to a guy that gets kicked in the head for a living and realising he's very eloquent, not every fighter is.

He's not KOed after the first punch, the first punch absolutely rocks him and makes him freeze and the 2nd one disconnects him completely
 
Perfect fight for Kevin at this point. Brunson is too slow and Holland is looking razor sharp.

You really cant tell what shot hurt Jacare first? To me it looks pretty obvious the right hook Holland threw from the floor with a big wind up rocked Jacare.

The consummate perennial gatekeeper... and I don't mean that as an insult. Not a bad argument in all honesty.

I like both guys a lot and can see legitimate routes to victory for each. Holland's TDD is inconsistent at best, which is sketchy against Brunson and his early and intense wrestling pressure. Holland is definitely the better technical striker, but Brunson has loads of power.

I feel like this will be settled one way or another by the end of the second round.

I agree he was hurt but not from the weak hammerfist and if Holland didnt position his legs like he did he wouldnt have knocked Jacare off balance. It wasnt a one or the other situation.

He got rocked by the elbows before the gif you posted and was defending the hammer fist that you thought hurt him but didnt, then he gets kicked off balance and gets rocked again by Holland's hook.

Again if you watched the fight you wouldn't be debating this lol. Souza was hurt. He was visibly hurt to the point when he fell back, the commentators reacted as if he was hurt. Because he was. Also even if a BJJ legend known for his top game wss simply pushed back by a half ass, makeshift scissor sweep position, i highly doubt he would grab Holland's foot with both hands after he fell back. He was CLEARLY hurt and you can see him covering up in the fuckin gif lol.

Jesus dude do you ever read all of a post before responding? I literally said that Jacare was hurt before he was knocked off balance just not by the hammerfist.
