I can't tell if you're trolling anymore.

Wilder's punch slided off Fury's head and hit Fury's body which is 80% fat. It's all physics. Any boxer in the world could do the same thing.
Post other examples.

Watch any video of any of Fury’s fights and you’ll see his body wiggling like jello when he bounces on his feet, even without anyone touching it. His body wiggles all the time.

Slided? I think you mean slid. Technically it's a word, the past participle of slide, but it's so archaic that nobody uses it anymore in modern English. Since Seano correctly identified it as a shockwave I actually went back and looked at Pride Shockwave 2005. Not even Cro Cop's most powerful head kicks caused this to occur against Mark Hunt, and as we know, kicks are able to generate a lot more force than punches. Like Fury, Hunt is flabby especially around the waist. If you really think that what Wilder did to Fury wasn't anything special then post other examples of it happening. Fury's body doesn't wiggle like that all the time.

I'm going wilder, I know there's recency bias, but there's fuck all about breaking a man down with wilder, if he lands your world is fucked. Only a huge gypsy who was born fighting has been able to climb back. Everyone else is zombied, it's julian Jackson esque, in that the shots sound like a gun going off.

Agreed. The counterargument to recency bias would be that those picking Big George could just as easily be affected by a psychological phenomenon known as rosy retrospection. It's closely related to nostalgia.

Yeah, I think Foreman gave the freakiest beatings but when it comes to 1-punch power Wilder is pretty unique. He didn't beat Murderer's row but there's something unnatural about his power.

if Jackson was a HW he'd be getting talked about in the same breath as Wilder and Foreman.
absolutely freakish power for a man his size.

I give it to Wilder, but on that note it's still the HW division so we're comparing heavies to heavies. I don't think weight should really factor into this discussion. What's more impressive is that Wilder has demonstrated limited technique.
His power is also why we has limited technical abilities, however I feel he gets a bad rap. He does some things well but he has holes all over. The fight with Fury really showcases that, lol he almost stopped him but didn't have the ability to handle the inside fighting and exchanges. He's good about keeping guys at the end of his punches, and thrives when there is distance. Fury smartly took that away. A guy like Andy Ruiz would make it a fun fight. Wish it happens.

His length allows him to generate a lot of velocity, he also really commits to those haymakers. I notice in training he works a lot of rotational strength, his abs are always shredded. He actually reminds me of Henry Akiwande , except he's a bit better but with much more power.

Foremans KO of Michael Moorer shouldnt count, guy falls over if he brushes his teeth too hard

Fat jiggling and a visible wave of force moving through your body from a punch are different things. Post a few examples if its so common.

Foreman because he knocks out people with arm punches.

He wasn't hit in the body.

I've never seen anything like it before. Just saying, people are acting like its a common occurrence, someone post some examples.
You aren’t gonna get many if any at all.

people just don’t want to accept that the lore of past generations isn’t gonna be the gold standard forever. Even with the beating he handed Foreman, Ali was able to weather plenty of that vaunted power of Foreman. If he was foolish enough to stand in front of Wilder like that we’d not ever talk about the old story of the rope a dope strategy. Ali would have been annihilated trying that. That’s the difference in power.

The way Foreman dropped Moorer. That was scary. It just seems like effortless power.

No wild swinging. Thats what they call real "man" power.

Ali was durable as all hell. Its one of the traits he was known for post prison. Liston, Frazier, Norton, Shavers, Foreman even guys like Chuvallo. That HW era Ali faced was a murderers row of heavy hitting, durable sluggers.

In comparison, aside from Fury, Wilder fought a bunch of bums.
