TJ, Assu and Cruz are the only guys I favor over MM.
Demetrious would mop the floor with Faber.

I could see him maybe going .500 against most of the top bw's. His wrestling will be ineffective against most of them though, which has really been his best weapon against most of his opponents at flw.

Cruz and maybe TJ, but I doubt any of the others would beat him.
Any fighter you think is fast will immediately look slow in comparison.

i favour him against the whole division, minus Domski's

TJ and Cruz would beat him

Assuncao probably could if he would stay healthy for once

Caraway and McDonald would be interesting match-ups I see both being 50/50

Garbrandt might knock him out

So you see him beating Caraway, Nolove, Faber ? These guys are giants compared to him.

I mean, I don't see Caraway having much for DJ really. Not sure it'd even be a difficult fight.
I believe DJ's next opponent Wilson Reis already beat Caraway at bantamweight so I'll keep an eye on that.

Cody and McDonald I just can't see winning either. Faber would look so slow.
Cruz and TJ are the bouts to see, and I do hope Assunacao follows through to flyweight cause that's a good one too.

Inb4 people underestimate Mighty Mouse because he's one division down, despite the fact that he was dominant for years as a Bantamweight and gave Cruz -- the consensus #1 Bantamweight -- a tough fight.

You're using MMA math. I cant see how DJ would handle a giant wrestler like Caraway, he maybe would get held down the whole fight. Cody is an giant wrestler with bombs in his hands he would be a stylistic nightmare for Dj in my opinion. There's a reason why Dj fights at Flyweight instead of BW.

Oh man, tough to say really. That's why these fantasy threads are frowned upon. The guy lost to Cruz before but he is so much better now, they're evolving. I hope he does make the move at some point though because I'm sure he'll wreck shop

I think he'd be top 5 I'd only favour TJ and Cruz over him.

Dj has evovled so much since he went to 125.

He was giving cruz all sorts of trouble on the feet really closing the distance well but dom was able to outgrapple him.But i think dj would be able to get to his feet and avoid that this time around.Id say he would either be the number 2 guy or the champion outside of a flash ko

I think he would be favored over all but Cruz. Cruz is a big bantam and he gave him a good fight pre knee issues

I know The Ufc is talking up mighty Mouse but there is merit to it. He has crisp striking, tdd, grappling, submissions, and he's the fastest guy on the roster.

Benavidez gave Cruz 2 very good fights and Dillashaw got knocked out by Dodson. Now I know guys improve but might mouse is a much better fighter as well since the fall of 2011 and the mouse starched Joe and John in their 2nd bouts

What I'll say is, I don't see how DJ does WORSE in a rematch with Cruz. That's given both his history in rematches, and his vast improvement he's made in the last 5 years. Even if DJ did 10% better I think you'd see a hell of a fight.

I would pick Cruz to decision MM 80% of the time, give him 50-50 against Dillashaw, and he would UD any other bantamweight.

I would need to see Caraway look fantastic in a few 5 rounds fights before I could be convinced he'd win by simply holding DJ down. Not even Cruz could hold DJ down.

DJ would tool Faber. You see how he shuts down against someone with speed and movement, two of DJ's strengths. Also, Faber is not a big guy himself, so size difference isn't that great.

Also, I think that DJ beats McDonald, Assuncao, and Caraway.

TJ is a toss up. If TJ fights like he did against Cruz (winging punches, abandoning footwork), then I think DJ beats him. If he fights smarter like against Barao in their first match-up, then I think TJ takes it.

Cruz beats him again.

As for Garbrandt, I haven't seen enough of him yet to really know what to think. Looks like he has hellacious power though. As a side note, I refuse to call Garbrandt "No Love". That moniker belongs to Rich Clementi!

Im not saying he would hold him down the whole five rounds but i think he would hold him down long enough to win the fight. The BW division has evolve alot since DJ fought in it before. If he was still fighting in the BW division he would've lost at least 3 times by now. You cant judge how a fight will go by saying oh Cruz couldn't hold him down for 5 rounds, because you can't indicate how a fight will go base on how it went against another guy. Thats MMA math.
