Media Demetrious Johnson plans to grapple 260 pound meathead.

I have a friend who somewhat reminds me of Bradley.

He used to try and minimise this ‘size’ argument, down to ‘who can throw a harder punch on a robotic bag’.

His claim is that because he’s 200-210lbs, he innately can punch a machine harder than a Haney, Floyd, Pac etc etc etc.

Any meahead who’s clobbered that ball machine know two things:

1. If you hit it hard and perfect, it legit means 0.00000000001% in regards to a fight. So it’s somewhat a moot point,

2. Punches legit take technique. We’ve all seen the 300lb geezer who just arm punches the bag. What is the actual point of that finding ?

I personally feel like Floyd Mayweather on a punching machine is going to easily hit it sharper and harder, even if he’s against Mark Henry. Perhaps that’s ignorant, but even so, what sort of effect does this have on the imaginary fight?

PS: Rountree by KO.

I saw a video of one of those "strengh dude" (weigh between 360 and 400) doing grappling against a way lighter dude former mma pro fighter (though 220), that did not end well for the big guy.
Anyway, i think after ufc 1 and 2, we knew on whom put our money
So you saw some guy nowhere near Brian Shaw get wrecked? I literally watched Brian laughing while Dustin was on his back bcecause he knows he could have destroyed his internal organs if he just dropped 400+ of those lbs on the mat.

Brian Shaw is 6'9, 400+ and one of the strongest humans on planet Earth. If he grabbed ahold of Dustin, it's over. Their strength disparity is far, far too apart.

Were they Roided up with exceptional strength? Or just big

Ive rolled w roidheads and with cornfeds.
My best advice is stay away from both. With minimal training they make exceptional leaps.

Look how messed up fedors face was vs DHC. Sure, he won but he was being smothered by all that size and every punch left a bruise on his face. Size def matters if they train at all.

This meathead is annoying.

I'd happily spar him. Guys like him can't strike for shit. They're slow, awkward, and have no cardio

So how is he gonna get close enough to take down someone like DJ? He can't punch his way in. DJ runs circles around him for 30 seconds until he's huffing and puffing, then leg kicks him until he quits.

Please, someone else,click that link

Does not everyone see that it says that his personal best raw lift is more than 500lbs?

Horrry shiet son
You're a bugged npc

Do you understand how this works? His personal best is just what he states. If it isn't done at an official meet then it doesn't count. He has never done more than 485 officially anywhere raw so stop this bs please

There's a point where weight advantage becomes more than just technique vs size

not to mention that Bradley Martin has some BJJ under his belt

Also, he's strong AF

People might just see em as a youtube face, but he's strong amongst strong people

In the end, I'd like to see the underdog win, but I would put my money on the ogre
What BJJ does Bradley have?
Ive seen one vid of him putting a Gi and white belt on to get ragdolled by a brown belt, but I wasn't under the impression that he had any skills.

Also, DJ will get to his back and strangle him fairly easily.

I give you the link if you want, its in french though.

The former fighter is a 45 years old Pride vet (fought mousasi and filho back in the days) and the strengh dude is the best in France at this stuff.
The video is 1 hour long, first part they do "strong stuff" then they spar and roll a bit (look around 45 minutes for that).
Anyway, as you said, i think its important to make the difference between the "bodybuilders" and the "strenghmen".

Who the hell is Bradley Martin? Getting tired of these YouTube E-list celebrities desperately trying to become famous

Do you even know how the records work?

There is a difference between raw and assisted lifts lol

nobody 150 lb is benching 500 lbs raw

stop googling shit you clueless pleb

Where did you find that info?
The raw bench record for 110kg class is over 300kg

John Haack has lifted close to 600lb in the 220 raw class.
Also you are wrong, as Roman Ermashivil has benched 228kg (over 500lb) weighing 67.5kg (under 150).

Yes he likely walks around over 170, but he has benched over 500

First of all, DJ won't be walking in there at 125lbs...
Secondly, we've already seen this multiple times before, Dustin rolled with Brian Shaw who weighs around 400lbs and handled himself quite well. The Mountain/Hafthor Bjornsson who also weighs around 400lbs has grappled/sparred with tiny MMA guys and didn't do too well either. But the number one thing with these giant meat factories is they GAS! Tren absolutely destroys your cardio.
If DJ is actually worried about this guy all he has to do is feint the single leg for 2 minutes and the guy will be too tired to fend off anything else and it's over, rear-naked 20 seconds later.

This is correct, Brian and Thor make Bradley look small and still got handled. Although martins who I understand has some wrestling and bjj experience handles himself much better. Not sure how good the guy he rolls with is though

It's the year 2023 in an MMA forum and people appear oblivious to what happened in UFC 1 in 1993.

What happened when Royce tried to grapple HW martial artists that had no ground game, with strikes allowed?

What happened when GSP grappled Guy Laraque?

And here we are talking about what one of the GOATS would do to an untrained body builder in a grappling match without strikes involved.

Amazing.
