DJ is going to need to get to at least average PPV levels before Dana will even start considering the sort of payday that DJ wants.
Sub 100K buys just isn't going to cut it.
I really hope DJ finds his voice. If he can't sell the fight, then it not only hurts him but it kills the entire division. The potential stars behind him have a hard time gaining traction if they're not holding the belt, and everyone in the division earns less money if their division is viewed as toxic to ratings/PPV buys.
I feel bad for the guy. He's skilled and clearly a nice guy, he's just not the sort of person that draws in viewers. That's bad in any division, but it's really bad in the lighter divisions.
