Decent watch, good to get more exposure to Demetrious "the person".

One thing that I picked up out of this video was his slightly nonchalant approach to losing fights now. He essentially stated that Chris Weidman is wrong for obsessing over the rematch with Luke, because if it goes badly he will be an emotional wreck.

I actually semi-understand his point, but I hope Demetrious isn't becoming complacent with all of these wins he's amassed. He sure does seem to be underrating Henry Cejudo in this build-up also. Claiming he didn't know he was a gold medalist etc. just seems like he's looking past him.

Also a little odd that he keeps referring away from Dominick Cruz and the Bantamweight division. Seems very content with staying at Flyweight. That is totally understandable knowing that the UFC is refusing his demands of a few million for the "superfight", but interesting all the same.

I used to be butthurt because MM beat Kid Yamamoto, and McCall but I changed my opinion about him ever since he started defending the belt. He's a great fighter and seems like a really cool dude. I know he gets hate on for being "boring" but he has a good number of finishes in his title reign and imo the first Dodson fight was one of teh best title fights ever. Didn't watch the vid yet, but I will. Thanks TS

It really could have gone either way. Dodson definitely won 1+2 and MM definitely won 4+5. Round 3 was really close.

Interesting.

He says his ultimate dream in MMA is to fight in a Pride 16 man tournament. He said he knows it can't happen anymore, but that's number 1 on his bucket list of MMA achievements.
