I never recieved my free bar sample.
Nozza,
Ironically I had dinner with a doctor who has done clinical research for 50 years specializing in double blind studies. The same concern popped up about purposely infecting a person to measure levels of effectiveness. Obviously this cannot be done therefore the research would have to be conducted by presenting thousands of participants that train Defense Soap and other forms of soap to do a comparison. The funny thing is I already have 10's of thousands of people who I have distributed my soap to and who have also used other soaps under the same training conditions. The positive feedback is overwhelming and why I stand so firm in my companies Defense (no pun intended)

Positive feedback is very weak evidence indeed - it's worthless scientifically speaking. As I pointed out before, scores of useless supplements and products peddled by the alt heath and bodybuilding markets have glowing reviews from people utterly convinced they work when they don't.
I don't know why it would be very weak. Practically all websites are dependant on testimonials, it's a common way to judge a product - a common practice.
I'm not saying testimonials are enough, but disagree stating it's "very weak".
I don't know what scientific proof you are expecting for a soap? The benefits of tea tree oil and eucalyptus are known - you can google it (ex. webmed).
Of course they're useless....almost as useless as opinions from people with no previous posts coming onto threads about commercial products
If you're that convinced by testimonials I have one weird trick that will whiten your teeth you might be interested in.

I have been a fighter my entire life. I can handle tough guys on a keyboard. Please email me at [email protected] with your address and I will send you a sample. If you like the sample you will be happy to hear that www.defensesoapeurope.com is days away from beginning fulfillment to Europe.

Are you a scientist? Have you conducted research?
How would you propose conducting these tests? I know there is evidence that tea tree oil has been proven to kill staph and MRSA. While these tests are done in petri dishes how should we go about testing these individuals? In today's "civilized" society it would be unethical to expose people to these infections. Bro science aside. I enjoy the soap and while using it I haven't gotten staph, ringworm or any other mat diseases around. While this is anecdotal at best I also enjoy using this soap. I use the slave on nicks and cuts. I use the salve on my small children when they get cuts.
It is good to be skeptical, though. There is nothing wrong with it.
I can't really lay out the precise procedures right now but one could start by perhaps using animals like pigs or a non dangerous bacteria just to see it having it on skin at the sort of timings and dilutions you get in a shower had an effect.,
But really that is beside the point. I'm not the one making claims. Supposedly not being able to test something is not evidence for a claim. Personally I don't think companies should make health claims without proof. I think the FDA agrees with me which is why alt heath firms use disclaimers and careful wording for their untested products.
Would you be happy if surgeons used nothing else than this soap (and I'm not picking on this particular product, honestly) for handwashing before surgery on your family? Or would you like to see some better testing? Would some internet testimonials be enough? I doubt it.
I don't know about surgeons. But I do know that the current soaps using antibacterial chemicals and other chemicals are creating these superbugs. I would love to see a comparison in defense soap vs these harsh chemical soaps that these institutions use.
Something needs to change in hospitals soaps. Maybe defense soap would be more effective than these other soaps in combating
