Ah, the old "he hasn't fought anybody!" argument. A classic for morons like yourself. Is he supposed to join the UFC and fight top 10 guys as soon as he goes pro? It doesn't work that way, you work your way up through the lower level organizations, like every other fighter in the history of combat sports. And in the top organization, he's 3-0 in the UFC with 2 finishes and the decision being a fight of the night.

This is how I feel. The Kyle fight was very concerning as a Zabit fan, as he was getting tagged, eaten up and out boxed by a mid tier fighter. Zabit's flashiness and ability to do a lot of things well is impressive, but once he meets someone that can stuff his td's and make him pay with power, he will be in trouble. I think a guy like Stephens or Mendes would be a good match.

Back to the topic, I wish there could be some middle ground between world-beater and bum. Zabit is crazy talented and the hype is justified (for a change) but we really need to see him against next level competition.

No, he is not getting a TS after Yair; that idea is ludicrous even for present day UFC. He would still be 1-2 fights away minimum ("If" he beats Yair btw, I don't know why everyone seems to think it is a given).

Best case scenario (say, if he wins in a dominant fashion) I see him fighting someone like Mendes or the loser of Aldo vs Stephens.

EDIT: I just realized I was thinking of Zabit fighting for the FW title, but the thread is about Zabit fighting Khabib at LW. This is just #1 bullshit then.

I agree. There's some weird posts on here from people. It's as if Conor birthed a massive influx of people who had never watched a fight in their life, and only liked him because he came from a certain place on the globe, or said something funny. Zabit is a GREAT fighter, look at the shit he threw at Kyle. Kyle isn't some shit fighter, he's tough kid. There's a reason why the people at the top right now, are all talking about him and saying he'll be one of the best if he continues doing what he's doing. He isn't GSP and just laying on fools... he throws some cool shit.

Wow, I hate to think how shitty and miserable your life must be if you think what I said is unrealistic and imaginary. Is it the shitty weather over there that makes you such a grumpy cunt? I haven't been to England yet, so not sure how true that stereotype about the weather is. Anyway every word of what I said about myself is true. I didn't claim to be wealthy, a 6'5 model who bangs 10's all the time. Sorry, but most forum posters aren't basement dwelling virgins, as the joke goes. I'm just a guy with an upper middle class upbringing who went to college for a well paying career. Huh, I sound like a pretty normal guy. Again, hate to think of what your life must be like if you think that was made up.

The weather is lovely actually it's over 30 degrees here and has been for a few weeks

And you should come, avoid that dump London and visit the Lake District or Peak District

I was trying to make a point that we can be anyone we want online, congratulations on getting two degrees and racking yourself up with student debt most likely to earn, as you said yourself an average wage

I'm not far off that and I have my own business with no overheads or debts and work about 30 hours a week

The moral of the story here is....

I think he beats Yair as they are essentially clones but Zabit has the grappling advantage. I think their offensive flashy Kung Fu will essentially nullify the others, but with Zabit being much longer, larger and having that sic Daga wrestling, I think he wins.

We always lose our collective shit when a guy comes along that can do flashy shit, whether it be grappling (Karl) or striking (Yair). That being said, the fight between Lando and Teymur/or/Nate vs Conor 1 showed the price of explosive flashy moves: they waste a ton of energy, and if you don't finish early, you will be a sitting duck.

The fact Zabit isn't smoking his opponents in a few minutes and has shown a propensity to gas is not a good sign if you are looking to crack with cardio machine monsters that can go all day and have power, like Lil Heathen. Maybe that hand really did hurt but it still does not explain why he has not been smoking these other jobbers that are put in there to end up on his highlight reel. Good boxing, good takedown defense and cardio will be his undoing.

Nah, fortunately that's where my upbringing came into play. My parents paid for college for the first degree. I didn't like the career that followed, so I went back to school for a second degree which I paid for myself, which was surprisingly affordable (barely $10K). New career has been great the last 8 years.
Haha average income...A quick Google search reveals that the average US income is $57K. I'm doing nearly twice that. It's not wealthy though, not a 1 percenter (think that is $250K or more a year), but I'm doing just fine.
