I agree, one can make points about his opponents etc etc. But we've seen him do what no other heavyweight can come close to doing. It's probably the only division that was stronger in the past than it is today.
 
He was once a great fighter, but he aged very poorly. By his early thirties, Fedor had become sloppy and one-dimensional.
Other heavyweights, like Overeem and Werdum, had career struggles early on but blossomed into better fighters with time.
For longevity's sake, I can't say Fedor's the GOAT. His prime was too brief.

What 10 years undefeated? How long would you like to see a HW go before losing for it not to be "too brief"? Seems the new ones maybe manage 0/1/2 defenses.
 
For me it's laughable how people hold a candle to fedors achievements at HW. There is always this fighter who is better in "reality" for this reason or that. Oddly the only thing that seems to change is the name of said fighter.

10 years is def to brief.. Even the Werdum fight he dropped him in 60 seconds went in for the kill and got caught
