you see DC big brothering guys like Luke, bisping and khabib all the times he picks on them but in a playful manner yet with Cain who’s his best friend he treats Cain like the bigger brother.

DC just said in the presser that Cain beats him up all the time so Stipe was not gonna be a problem.

Hope Cain comes back soon cuz once dc retires the hw division is gonna need him.
 
Their sparring wars at AKA are the stuff of legends.

We had a guy posting on sherdog a ways back that trained at AKA, and he said they practically bring the roof down on that place.

Cain vs Jones for the HW belt would be great stuff.

Cain is legit the biggest disappointment in MMA history - he should have been the HW GOAT.
 
Performance wise i got prime Cain as the #2 HW ever after Fedor
 
2 of the best heavyweights ever in the same camp imo.
 
DC beats Cain.

DC could have been two division champion years ago in Jones' absence.

I've never been the same after back surgery, I stay laid up and I was pretty athletic, so you're right about Cain probably not coming back.

I think you’re right, bad backs are a serious downer. Lewis should hang it up too with his back issues.

Opinion for opinion
I think Fedor in his best night was just too much, him and Cain being close but power and speed wise Fedor was something else. I believe one brawl between them will have been the greatest HW fight ever though.

About DC, i think he will have been outpaced and he suffer fast opponents, his style works much better when he's at speed advantage (not a case we seen him struggle more at LHW than HW)

I was feeling his pain, he needs to hang it up are try and do something. Personally, I would not get surgery and hang it up. If I knew how many back surgeries fail I would have never had mine fused, It's 10 times worse now and I'm always chasing Dr's, not to mention the financial strain it's caused.

Yea my surgeon refuses to operate on me and he’s probably right, with Physio and gym work over a ten year stretch I’m able to live a good life but I’ll never play contact sports ever again.

Maybe so, but like we both already know, we really will never know and that's a shame.
