First of all, I think its BS when people say that it would be impossible for him to cut down to middleweight and there's no way he could get lean and have abs. If you consider what people have went through down through history, the extremes of concentration camps, Christian Bale dieting down for "The Machinist", etc., of course with the help of a top notch nutritionist and the laws of physics and biology, he could get down to 10% or less body fat...in theory. Fighters run into problems when they try to do it through crash diet and dehydration rather than at a healthy rate through liftestyle changes. ALL THAT BEING SAID, there are some bodytypes that hold fat easier, healthier, and retain functionality better than others. Cormier has proven that he has a certain musculature that soaks up excess calories and makes the most of it. His muscles are a sleeping giant mass of twisted explosive fast twitch muscle fibers ready to explode on someone's ass. All they need is to get those mitochondrial energy storehouses full of ATP, courtesy of full and happy fat cells surrounding them. You see fat. I see a thick chunk of sinewy muscles with a bit of caloric insurance...insurance his body happens to know how to make the most of. If his leg doesn't hinder him, I'm feeling better about my parlay at the moment.![]()

Hey guys. You can say what you want but Daniel Cormier is the African American Fedor. He can probably cut down to Middleweight. I like Stipe, he is a good guy but AA Fedor will give him a run for his money. -Kenny

hes got some love handles on him
It definitely looks better than what you would think of someone who is 5'9" and weighs close to 250 lbs.I’d call it a normal body
not sure if serious.... i guess you are joking, but he weighted in at 246....
226 is the event...
Thin, soft and loose.
He looks better at HW now then he did years ago.
in the first pic he's with more 8 pounds and not flexingSeriously? He looks to me like he's replaced the muscle he lost cutting to LHW with more fat.
Here he is at 238lbs against Barnett

It is pretty much impossible, DC would be ripped at 220 ish and he's terrible at cutting weight.First of all, I think its BS when people say that it would be impossible for him to cut down to middleweight and there's no way he could get lean and have abs.
