DC has to be very careful against Anderson

I go back and forth on this fight. Sometimes I think DC is going to steamroll over Anderson and other times I feel like Anderson is going to catch him and knock him out. And thats what he has to worry about. DC has never faced anyone as dangerous and tricky as Anderson. No one with his timing, speed or precision. You give Anderson an inch and he will take a mile and hurt you BADLY. He is nothing like Jones in this regard. Hes much more dangerous when it comes to quick fight ending ability even if Jones has safer odds of beating DC than Anderson does.

And the fact Anderson only weighed in at 198 and is past his prime I feel like theres a good chance DC underestimates him and tries to just bullyrush him like he has everyone else. Only Anderson is much different than everyone else. You get careless against Anderson and you will wake up with a flashlight in your eyes.

He really does, but he would have to be careful against any other top 10 fighter anyway. Anderson's tricky, but he's a 41-year-old middleweight with a not so solid takedown defence.

Logic says DC all the way.

I just hope DC doesn't show Silva too much respect.

This fight could end up like Wonderboy vs Hendricks or Ronda vs Holm or Cain vs Werdum. Anderson is in another universe when it comes to striking and DC just likes to charge forward with his extremely short arms wrestle-boxing. I know Bisping hurt Anderson but I really dont think DC hits any harder than Bisping nor does he have as good of boxing or as much reach.

I agree. At first I thought that DC is going to ragdoll him, but then I started thinking about that knee that Gus landed that almost put DC away. Silva could easily pull some shit like that and finish the job

Anything can happen. Anderson's precision, timing and underestimated power are always a threat. But that's his only threat. I don't see Anderson stopping Cormiers TD's.

DC has the clear advantage. You can never underestimate someone who has the experience and is in there just for the fun of challenging himself. No pressure on Anderson's side.

Five or so years ago, I would agree with all of you. Today, Im sorry but I dont think Anderson has much of a chance to win. I hope Im wrong because I cant stand DC.

Take down. Smash. Repeat.

Easy fight.

This version of AS has no business at all fighting this version of DC.

DC by annihilation.

Bisping is far more technical but nowhere near as fast and as explosive as DC. DC hits much harder, it's not even comparable. If he finds on Silva's chin they will need to wake Andy up with smelling salts.

That bigfoot ko gif is all anyone can ever say about DCs power and it gets tiresome. DC was a HW there and Bigfoot has always had a shaky chin. Tkoing Pat Cummins isnt that impressive either. KOing Rockhold is more impressive than tkoing Cummins. What else is there? DC is not a big hitter at all.

As much as I crap on Anderson, I will be nervous watching as I always am during fights. I've watched these fights too long to rule anyone out.

He needs to watch for the flying knee, that's about it.

It's not about who he did it too or how often he does it, you just need to look at footage of him and Bisping throwing strikes and you can tell who is the more explosive striker. Post some gifs of Bisping throwing heat like that please.

DC needs to be careful standing and on the ground. He leaves too many openings for subs when on top, which an experienced fighter like Silva could easily detect and exploit.

DC's stumpy ness is an anatomical submission defense.

I'd say Anderson is the one who needs to be careful. He's doing this one of the money, and I bet its going to be the biggest purse he's ever made. Regardless of the outcome, this is a big win just as long as he doesn't get badly injured.
