Media DC gives his thoughts MMA fighters losing to Jake Paul

you do realize that Woodley fought at 170, right?
So was Askren and so does Masvidal and Nate (who truly is 155)...

...again, what the hell are you talking about?

No. Woolley fought him at 189. You do realize he was weight cutting. Neither did for this.

No he doesn’t. Neither Is doing weight cut.

Nonsense. CLEARY, Jake here is OBVIOUSLY cutting himself to death trying to get to 190.

Just look at how drained he is? Guy's CLEARLY really a 210-220lb weight bully.

Sorry, but it seems you are too fucking slow.
Yes, OBVIOUSLY he cut weight when he fought at WW. All that meant was that WW was his OPTIMUM weight.
A fat fuck just off his couch at 205 Lbs does not make him a fucking LHW. It makes him an out of shape fighter.

After a full training camp, at their peak performance is where you should check them, and that would be the best weight they can be... which is OBVIOUS was WW, where they fought all their careers.
And ALL fighters called by Jake were fighting at WW, which put them between 156 to 170 lb according to the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts.

What the fuck are you missing here, genius?

If the ufc really cared they'd send in a real hitter to sort it out. They may have to before Anderson takes the fight. I know it's silva but you never know what could happened in there and he's damn near 50 years old now. If the striking GOAT gets Koed by Paul regardless of whether it's boxing or not. That'll be the worst look
That'd be fucking sad

Who cares t Wood made more in that fight then rest of his MMA career combined good for him

Wow he has already learned to weight cut like a wrestler. This makes MMA look even worse

you are dumb as fuck. No wonder why you have so many posts. Smart people have good jobs and can afford entertainment.

It seems the only dumb fuck here is you, kid.
You have no concept of size, weight classes, peak weight, etc...
It would do you good to read about it, so you are not so fucking clueless that even after explaining things to you, you still don't get it.

By the way, kid: the number of posts is because some times I find retards like you, and I waste many posts trying to explain obvious shit to them... but alas, you still don't get it.
As for "good jobs", I am glad you think that way. That explains you don't have a good job, but envy those who have... after all, me having a GREAT job allows me to spend time doing what I like, for instance teaching fools in here about how weight classes work.
Stay in school, kid. You need it!

No chance. If by “boxing guys” you mean guys like Jake Paul. Even then I’d favor Paul.

A prime boxer has no need to prove himself or take a massive pay cut for BKB.

Can you imagine GGG in BKB, he would have his way with anyone.

We are talking about youtube

I don’t know how much stock you’ll agree to put into this, but when artem lobov beat Paulie I wasn’t shocked at all..

but I do agree guys like fury, GGG etc would dominate BKB.

I'm kinda with DC on this one.

T-Wood may have made a lot of money and maybe that's all he cares about but man is it a bad look.

The main thing that's disappointing is how he fought. Like yeah, get your money, but try to win the damn fight, especially after you wanted the rematch so bad and already tattooed the kid's name on yourself.

He did try to win the fight, he's just a 40 year old non-boxer fighting a 24 year old who has trained and taken this shit seriously. the bad look is for the UFC when a guy who fought for them for 8 years can make more money in two circus fights than he did in his entire career with them.

DC is on the UFC/ESPN payroll. his opinion on anything is now bias.

It’s not embarrassing that he made a shit ton of money. This is the only argument people seem to have.

The embarrassment is that he lost a decision and then got absolutely starched and stretched out ice cold by a juiced up youtuber who fought a basketball player 2 fights ago. The debacle is a huge black eye on the sport of mma and it should be.

Sorry, but it is you who are wrong.
Yes, some parts of boxing is part of MMA. But it is not everything, and definitely not the biggest focus for most fighters.
You are actually part of the problem if you think that an MMA fighter should be good enough to beat a boxer (no matter if Amateur or pro).
No I am correct. Yes I do feel mma fighters should have the ability to beat a pro boxer. It just shows their boxing level is not up to par if they can't. Just like there are mma fighters that can submit world champion bjj sport fighters. There should be mma fighters that can beat professional boxers at the elite level. If they can't, get their boxing up and stop making excuses why the boxers are better than them in boxing when they also train boxing.

Let alone that we're also very loosely defining Jake as a boxer. He's fought:
  • A Youtuber (amateur bout)
  • A Youtuber
  • An NBA player
  • Ben
  • Tyron
  • Tyron
Only 3/6 of his opponents have been actual fighters, and only 4/6 athletes at all. Nor does he even have a long training or amateur background and was just waiting till ready to fight or something. He just started doing it at the same time he started training. He's not beating fellow boxers to really call him a boxer yet himself. If he were coming off the Tommy Fury win that this fight should've been I'd be ready to start calling him a boxer, but right now it's being very generous/disengenuous to call him one as though he really is an expert specialist with his hands.

People are pretending he has the extensive training, amateur career, and pro career behind him of a "real" boxer, and not a guy who's essentially been doing the beginning of an amateur career. Like yeah, it's one thing if you took a guy like Woodley and matched him against a comparative top 15 boxer, of course he's supposed to lose that and that's a real mismatch. But against Jake's *actual* experience level I don't understand how people can say he shouldn't be losing these bouts. If he truly has better striking than them it's because they somehow wasted a huge portion of their career never learning. Which is a separate problem entirely.

And hell, but it's worth mentioning that before Jake took up boxing he was actually an amateur wrestler, which is the very knock people are using to justify these MMA guys losing. They're acting like he only knows how to throw punches, when Jake himself is a grappler who learned striking too lol.

No, people with good jobs make money. You post because you are a nerd with no friends. I don’t because I have friends and money. Your writing skills show you are poor.

Cutting weight to have an advantage doesn’t make that your weight class. It also is something that takes time to learn and condition your body for. Wrestlers start that in high school.

Paul would get KOed by any half way decent boxer.

Nothing to be proud of, getting bodied by Paul Jake like that. Then laughing at the memes. It's fucking cringey.
I guess the money is just more important for some people.

So... you don't post? You just did, kid. LOL
That alone proves how dumb you are.

So you admit Woodley, Askren and every single fighter Jake called out fought at WW or below. Thank you for admitting you were wrong.

It seems you enjoy getting humiliated...so keep trying.

Jesus, but you are an obstinate dumbass.
Most MMA fighters who "won BJJ tournaments" came from BJJ into MMA< not the other way around, kid!

Askren and Woodley came from WRESTLING, not from boxing!
Learn the difference!!!
