Well, DC has a point.
Around that time, he and Fedor both fought Bigfoot Silva and Hendo, and the results speak for themselves. Just facts.

It's a reasonable take and even the timeframe is accurate. Fedor was on the decline in 09 and a year later the 3 losses back to back to back. "Average" just wasn't the right choice of word for it. It would be not as untouchable in 09, declining, that the streak is coming to an end.

Adress/clarify controversey on his youtube channel.

His youtube channel is monotized. So he makes money.
 
If that's the context, then it's hard to take issue with the idea that Fedor was no longer in his prime when that next generation came forward, so it's hard to take issue with what he said.

If everyone was freaking out because they thought he was saying something else, then it's completely appropriate to set the record straight.

That's not "ass kissing," that's clarifying.

He was discussing a certain time frame in the video that has everyone up in arms. He was not referencing his whole career.

Maybe you missed the fact that he was discussing two different time frames and one guy being average after his prime wouldn't necessarily invalidate his apex. No idea if you did. I know I don't care either way.
