DC boring?

LOL No way! DC is one of the only fighters that regularly fights guys that tower over him. Half his career has been spent fighting HWs. That is not boring and its rare in MMA these days. Yea that fight vs Anderson sucked but How can you call DC boring?

DC vs Josh Barnett
DC vs Hendo
DC vs Jon Jones
DC vs Rumble
DC vs Gus

All of the fights listed above were EPIC fights. IMO both Jon Jones and GSP are way more boring than DC. DC is a great champ. Look at this pic below. DC is great and we're lucky to have a champ like him.

DC is boring. And while he is short - he outweighs every single person he has fought at LHW. His build is almost perfect for his wrestling style so it doesn't matter if others are taller (unless that person is Jones).

yes it does matter if people are taller. Height and reach make significant advantages and i want proof that DC outweighed jones and Gus on fight night cause i don't believe you.

Jones plays it safe in a lot of his fights. hes had good fights like his fights vs Shogun and Gus. But generally Jones plays it safe and just tries to ride fights to a decision. I think hes boring in most of his fights quite honestly.

Gus vs DC was a great fight.

I guess the saying is true when they say "you are only as good as your last fight". So I'm not very happy how the fight turned out.

DC is the LHW champion. People expect more from him. Instead, he gave us a lot less.

I know what you mean but DC was getting lit up on the feet. he did what he had to do. I wasn't happy with it either. But our last LHW champ wouldn't even accept a fight with Sonnen with 2 weeks notice. DC accepted one vs Anderson with 2 days notice.

Even if you didn't find last night's fight that exciting, DC was working the entire time and was landing constant Gnp. He even seemed to go out of his way to stand with Silva.

People also seem to forget that despite being past his prime, Anderson is very dangerous, unpredictable, and experienced. Short notice takes none of that away from him. Even at forty years old, it would be very foolish to think anyone is going to just walk through Anderson Silva.

I feel like this hysterical reaction to Cormier's performance is partly because the card was underwhelming and sherdoggers can't seem to handle disappointment without assigning hate and blame for it, as irrational as it may be. I feel like it's mostly just the general lack of respect and appreciation "fans" have for the fighters though.
