Is DC beating Stipe more or less difficult than Wanderley beating Cro Cop?

Well TS, consider Wandy Crocop first match was actually a draw...

I also don't see any comparison between DC and teh axe murderah.

Wand should have won that first fight. It was not a draw.

The second was, in my opinion, the most brutal finish in MMA history. Something about the way that kick lands makes me feel sick.

I think DC has a better shot than Wand did the 2nd time. Maybe not as good a shot as the 1st match.

Completely forgot they fought twice. It's hard to remember anything beyond that absolutely brutal beating Wand got the second time.

The first fight wasn't under Pride rules.

Crocop caused all the damage in the first fight.

Had it been full rules Silva would have won.

But Crocop had just come over from K1 and wasn't not a veteran MMA fighter yet.

Would be like if Mayweather came over and fought Mcgregor in an MMA rules fight 6 months after first fighting a couple pro wrestlers in MMA rules first.

Two strikers compared to a wrestler and primarily a striker. Plus, DC has plenty of experience fighting heavyweights. He has a decent chance unless Stipe's power is too much

DC has good experience at heavyweight and while he may not be the favourite it is a fight he can win. The 2nd Wanderlei CC fight would have been very hard for Wandy to win.

This is accurate. The reason DC took this fight is because this is basically one of the few top HW fighters he has a shot to beat. The rest of the top guys would cream him unfortunately.

This isn’t a knock on Stipe, Stipe beat all those guys fair and square and deserves his place atop the HW division. But, stylistically, this is the only fight vs top HW’s that DC has a decent chance to win. Stipe isn’t as broad as Alistair or Francis. I think he might be easier to take down for DC because of that. They all have the power to KO DC, Werdum obv doesn’t care being taken down by DC because he would most likely sub him. But, vs Stipe, he has a good shot of landing TD’s and on the feet, he has enough speed and technique to evade the big shots to get inside and get TDs.
