To be fair, he dominated DC in one fight and KO'ed him in the other. Gus was the toughest fight he's ever had...
 
What he did to Hendo was truly shocking. I've never seen such a grappling beatdown.That fight felt surreal. He was controlling and beating Dan Henderson like a little brother who stole something. Like he wasn't even trying.

tbh I didnt see it coming, thought Strikeforce DC would have been game vs Miocic, but UFC DC was so far out of his [physical] prime, that it had to be considered a legit upset... But, realistically, Miocic was not a huge step-up in competition...


Now...On the other side, if you think about it... his early win over Barnett is perhaps crazier... and perhaps an even greater upset...

See: DC was still unknown, techically a rookie, and Barnett was a huge step-up in competition.
Barnett was on a great run, Barnett managed to reach the top3 in Pride..
Miocic could have broken into the top 5, but that´s not a lock, competition back then @ HW was much more legit imo...

The 2 wins are impressive, would be like splittin´hairs... But my choice is the one over Barnett.

I fucking loved Pride but god do you guys overrated it.

Gus and Rumble would beat Barnett as well

Was this before or after Usada? Before he had the testosterone of an 18-year-old Russian wrestler. Still, that fight is burned into my memory. Who else has made him look like a helpless child who had never heard of wrestling? It's respect to Hendo that I choose this fight in the first place. Hendo p4p toughest man alive imo.

I believe PEDs can give you a 2nd wind, for sure, but your [peak] physical prime is gone...realistically...
