The safety of these cars is really something else. To think he walked away from that relatively unscathed. Crazy. Also photo finish for Hamlin, that was a great race
Yeah, crazy finish. When I saw he got drilled by another car in the driver's side (while upside down) with that car doing 200mph after hitting the wall himself at 200mph, for real I had him as likely dead. Immediately. I was like "uh-oh" and the way they went about things made me think I was right. Scary.
Yeah I looked away after I saw the second impact, him getting smashed by that other car. Thought damn that's about as bad as it could've been. Get blasted into the wall then smashed by another car edit oh shit it was driver's side lol missed that you said that

Oh I think he's done. Would have been nice to go out with the win, but I think he was maybe done anyway, right? Or no? Thought I heard that (might have been his last Daytona 500---prior to the race/wreck), but I don't follow closely and could be mistaken. I know it was Jimmie Johnson's last.
