Tank never lost in my eyes. Some fights just ended before he won.
Love Tank. This was my first UFC and I was disappointed when he lost to Oleg. I was hooked. I remember when he fucked Paul Varelans up. I think Tank was using the cage at moments for more pressure with that knee he had applied to his face and neck.
Tank to this day is my favorite fighter. I started watching the early UFC events around 94-95 (via VHS tapes) and I used to hate pure grapplers like Royce Gracie and Dan Severn, but when I first saw Tank he was exactly what I wanted and expected to see when watching a "No Holds Barred" fight.

He really didn’t give a fuck lolYes, we need more Tank around here.
The original Sherbro.

This one?Anyone has that ringside interview, tank wasn't fighting that night and was obviously loaded! Funny shit! I can't seem to find it.
yeah that guy lost to Randy twice! That's not Vitor Belfort lol.
Rizzo KO's AA, that was a cool fight. Is this gif tagged somewhere as Tank vs Belfort?
I am curious because every once in a while someone posts it as an excerpt from that fight.
I mus admit Pedro Rozzo looks a bit like young pencil neck Vitor, or maybe its these pants.
Kevin Levrone had some freaky lifts too.
495 lbs for 3 reps on the bench press, and then 455 lbs for 4 reps on the incline bench a few minutes later, just over 1 week out from the '98 Olympia:
Behind-the-neck presses with 405 lbs for 5 reps, just over 1 week out from the 2000 Olympia:
I am a PRIDE nerd and Tank was around before PRIDE even existed.whether you are a fan of Tank Abbot is the acid test for legitimate long-term Fight fans, IMO.
If you were watching back then, you are a fan of Tank.
Despite what the pride nerds might say, Tank was the earliest, most badass fighter, no contest.
<{cruzshake}>War Tank.
P4P heaviest hitter of all-times.
100% of the early fans were Tank fans? Stupid.whether you are a fan of Tank Abbot is the acid test for legitimate long-term Fight fans, IMO.

What is your source that the fight was a work?War Tank. He got screwed badly at UFC 6.. because Oleg Takatarov vs Anthony Macias was a fixed fight, it was a 100% work.. Oleg got a free pass to the final and Tank did not. So unfair.
I love all the legend fighters you are doing recently Glove, keep it up. Yeah that 600 Ibs bench press is insane, I had read on the UG in the past that people were there at another time when he did 620 Ibs max bench press and many people were in the room to witness it. Tank was crazy strong!!
He was the antithesis of everyone else around at the time. Theyd have these boring video packages and the guys would be like hey im mike white meat baby face from missasauga, and my style is fook su won.whether you are a fan of Tank Abbot is the acid test for legitimate long-term Fight fans, IMO.
