Tank never lost in my eyes. Some fights just ended before he won.

Love Tank. This was my first UFC and I was disappointed when he lost to Oleg. I was hooked. I remember when he fucked Paul Varelans up. I think Tank was using the cage at moments for more pressure with that knee he had applied to his face and neck.
It was great.

Anyone has that ringside interview, tank wasn't fighting that night and was obviously loaded! Funny shit! I can't seem to find it.

I am a PRIDE nerd and Tank was around before PRIDE even existed.

But so was Igor. He also started in 1995. Just on the other side of the world.

Igor, Tank, Vitor, Ruas, Mo Smith, Bas Rutten, Yvel, Schilt and Rizzo. Those were the dangerous strikers of the 90's

He was the antithesis of everyone else around at the time. Theyd have these boring video packages and the guys would be like hey im mike white meat baby face from missasauga,and my style is fook su won.


Tank would just say scandalous shit and made the most out of whatever air time they gave him. He was a fucking dream for the UFC at the time,acting like he did. He didn't respect anything or anyone "not even you!" and he admitted how much he liked to hurt people and it showed in the ring. He wasnt making any of this shit up.The guy was a villain straight out of a movie. He ruled.
