None of his specials are going to be "new", as in never heard before. Especially if you go to his shows.

The 2 specials were OK. He is still a great performer, but the writing is so-so. Definitely above average, but not as funny as a lot of people made it out to be.

Yeah, I thought the same. I really don't understand people praising these new stand-ups. I loved the Chappelle show, but these new Netflix one's was extremely meh.

I never said he would use untested material, you moron. I said I thought it would be the more recent material he's been working on. If you listen to any of his interviews, he even says he's been working on newer material but he had the first two specials on the shelf from years ago and took advantage of the opportunity to release them on Netflix because of the incredible offer they made. I only learned of this after I watched them.

You went and saw Chappelle. Then saw his special a year later and complained he recycled jokes.

You're going to be similarly disappointed if you go see him again, and then watch the special whenever it drops.

Just watched them. They were both good. I was laughing so hard tears were coming out. Sure it isn't killing then softly but it was good.
