Darren Till landed more shots. Why is there controversy?

When a fight is that close, the fighter who gets the knock down at the end.....deserves to win the fight. The better fighter won. We can argue all we want with if a jab should be worth more than a leg kick, but one thing you cant argue with is a knock down. That round alone should have been 10-8.

thing is the fight wasnt really that close. Yea nothing significant happened the entire fight until that knockdown but Wonderboy got right back up, blitzed him he then got a take down lol it was weird but it happened... so it wasnt like he was hurt. When Woodly hit him he looked fucked, he didnt look that bad at all after this knockdown.. Anyways as i was saying, the fight looked close since nothing crazy was happening BUT Wonderboy was clearly getting the better of the exchanges and countering Till cleanly when Till would commit to strikes. Till would come in and swing, hed miss and Wonderboy would counter and the crowd would erupt. It made is sound as if Till landed when he didnt. Go back and re watch the fight... im not being bias here like i said im not really a fan of either guy i just say what i see and how i see it. Either way i wish both guys well, it sucks for Wonderboy because hes nearing the end of his career while Till looks to have a bright future ahead.

Deserved to win the fight regardless of where it took place. I’d bet on Wonderboy over most still though

Strike stats are stupid, especially "significant strikes". Wonderboy won the fight, neither fighter really stood out but Wonderboy should have won... How do i know if not by strike stats?... ... I watched the fight...

those stats have to be wrong... wonderboy landed to the head much more than Till did... and iv seen different stat counts, i hadnt seen this one it shows Till landing double the head shots wonderboy did? wtf?

Didn't one of Till's leg kicks hurt thompsons knee and made him switch stances? And his leg looked pretty red. I wouldn't say Till's leg kicks were completely useless like some people are saying

Anyone that thinks this was one sided for Wonderboy is deluded. It was CLOSE and the majority of these Pros or Experts that picked Wonderboy did it because you do automatic give these razer close rounds to someone. I think some of the supposed controversy over it is the Unanimous decision and those 2 49 - 46s dont think people would have complained if it was a SD or even another Draw.

I would have given it to Wonderboy as well but only just. Considering some of the clear cut robberys we have had in Boxing and MMA all the bitching about this is a bit of a joke. This wasn't Alvarez v GGG.

Yes it did. He was constantly switching stances and redness was obvious from his leg. Not much, but more than anything Wonderboy threw in fight.
