Hard to deny it anymore after that huge performance against Wonderboy Thompson. Outsmarted best point fighter in UFC & hits like heavyweight as we saw against Cerrone. 25 years old, already on this level & there is no one that could strike with him at Welterweight.

I didn't see the fight. Was it actually a good striking match?

No. It was high level tentative dog shit. Unless you can see people's intentions instead of their physical manifestations.. don't watch it.

Douglas Lima would cripple and KO his ass

Oh and op is trying way too hard. Go steal some car wheels.

Wasn’t a “huge performance” at all, even if you believe he won.

Was a 5 round decision he LOST according to 90% of MMA media.

Knocking out Cerrone doesn’t mean you hit like a heavyweight, it means you guys aren’t friends. It’s Cerrone for fucks sake.

He’s not the best striker in the UFC, at all.

He hits like a 173.5 er

Darren Till has KOed Cerrone and barely decisioned Wonderboy

Stipe Miocic has KOed Werdum, JDS, Overeem and Arlovski and soundly decisioned Ngannou (with a lot of grappling, but he also outstruck Ngannou when they stood).

Steepay My-Oh-Chick!

Also Max Holloway, TJ Dillashaw, Conor McGregor etc. are more proven strikers than Till.

Hits like a HW yet struggles to knock out low level UFC fighters, sure.

Too bad there's not a 174.5 weight class.

He's not even the best striker in his division. Tyron did more damage standing against Wonderboy.

It doesn't take a heavyweight to ko Cerrone.

And Woodley successfully defended his belt twice against Thomson and did that on the feet.
So with your logic Woodley is the best striker in the UFC.

So let me get this straight:

Home boy gets beat up in a draw vs UFC reject Dalby, has a bunch of boring decisions in his other fights and can't finish his breakfast, finally gets a finish vs shot old man 55'er Cowboy, and then gets the most bogus gift decision since GSP Hendricks in his hometown, in an absolutely horrible fight in which he came in over weight and is now 'the best striker in the UFC'????

Yeah, sounds legit!

Getting a TKO vs Cerrone means you hit like a HW?

Till is a great striker and an interesting contender at WW but his power is not that impressive to justify such superlatives.

Woodley atleast made the weight, and tho none of the three fights were convincing, both Woodley's draw and win were more convincing than that sham bogus hometown cooked decision for Till.

I think Till has some great potential, but he has had a bunch of incredibly mediocre and boring fights, one good win vs a Cowboy that is shot, and people are acting like he is Juicin' Jones 2.0. To be honest, much of the fight the other day was just embarrassing, he was whiffing like Ray Charles playing golf, and if the crowd wasn't cheering at every whiff and from his hometown, they likely would have been laughing or falling asleep. Right now we should be talking about how Wonderboy shut down the overweight hype train 49-46 in a horrid fight, but something went terribly wrong and this totally unwarranted hype train carries on. Atleast Conor knocked out top ranked opponents & showed up on weight on his way to being gifted a TS.
