It’s reverse psychology. Just kidding , it hardly matters. UFC is not so rational on title shots anyway. Staying healthy and winning is best he can do. Picking off challengers so they will eventually have to give him shot. Dariush at least smart enough not to directly criticize the promotion.

Yeah. they're doing that because they want a title shot, and one has done it more than others, and that's dariush. I'm not saying I support dariush's stance here, but I do understand him.

Dariush has beaten only 1 top 10 (Gamrot ), beating Tony is like beating syphilis (it was hard a very long time ago but quite easy now.) Charles is #1 and has beaten everybody but Islam. Beating Charles gets him a shot but can he actually beat Charles ?

Carlos Diego Ferreira was ranked and on a 6 fight win streak when Dariush beat him.

But he gives all the shine to Elon Musk. Even begged. Didn't acknowledge his coaches at all.



He will get the titleshot if he wins though. No matter who he wants to "give shine" to.

I understand not wanting to play the game the way some other fighters do but at least don't give us silly crap like this begging of Elon for a car or the cringe Whittaker thing which was based on a rumor. The Iran and Jesus stuff I get since its personal for him but all this other silly stuff isn't helping.

Exactly. It's hard to see the UFC trying to promote anyone unless they are from the UK/Ireland and extremely irritating.

Like look at Tom Aspinall. English, never goes to a decision, but he's mild-mannered and keeps to himself so the UFC doesn't give a shit.

Put pressure on the UFC. Make the reporters ask Dana questions about you after the event. Put the idea into people's heads...
