What did you think of DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season One?

Dunno if my mind is playing tricks but I watched a few episodes of s1 last week and somehow she looked even better in born again.

Woman is aging like wine.

Not the typical sherdog 'pointy elbows' comment but she is just so not my type. If she was in a bar i was in i would not notice her unless she made the effort to hit on me.

BUt i still recognize she is pretty and know she is very much the type for a lot of my friends.
 
Have there been any shows since DDS3 ended explaining how Bullseye survived Kingpin literally snapping his spine in half? I know the female Hawkeye show had some stuff with Fisk getting shot and the girl using psychic powers on him.

She's really a joy to speak to. My gf and I had a photo op with her in 2018 and she had some music going. It was pretty awesome. Finally saw her again in Raleigh last year and she signed a DD helmet of mine.

You ain't lying about her looks. She's hot and can easily hold a conversation.

IIRC, she said in an interview that she was something of a Nerd in high school and competed in Mathletics.

Brains and Beauty. :)
 
Not on par with netflix so far for me but still good, actually only marvel era comic show i will watch (difference is in vibe and feel for me, netflix one felt gritty as hell)

Cox and dinofrio are great to watch as usual

Plotwise would have preferred sticking closer to comics with drug addiction of certain character leading into shitshow but we will see how season goes on

There's no way they could do that. Show Karen is a completely different person from Comic Karen.

Born Again in the comics was all about Karen Page selling Matt's secret identity as Daredevil for the price of a fix. By this point in the show, Fisk already knows Matt is DD. So does Bullseye for that matter.

S3 on netflix borrowed heavily from born again comic plotline so directly following would have been kinda retarded lol
 
You guys sound like you just want the comic Born Again and have Karen turn into a druggie ho porno actress running around buck naked in live action.

I don't. I much prefer the TV version.

Two of my favourite scenes are Karen shooting Wesley(S1)and confronting Fisk in the hotel room(S3). The latter scene was some of the best acting in all three seasons. Up until then, Fisk has been three moves ahead of everyone. He manipulates Karen into confirming that Matt is Daredevil. Then Karen turns the tables by revealing she was the one who killed Wesley.

D'Onofrio is brilliant as always. He doesn't say a single word during Karen's monologue. He manages to convey shock and growing rage by facial expression and body language alone. Which leaves Woll to do much of the heavy lifting, as she's the only one speaking. And she's never been better, expertly conveying Karen's delight in finally being able to hurt Fisk, even if it means he will kill her.

"He died quickly, if that's any consolation. Didn't suffer. I shot him seven times. Because the clip ran out. He deserved worse".

No costumes, superpowers or fights. Just two very talented actors bringing their A Game. :cool:

End of season 3 showed Bullseye on the operating table, presumably getting Adamantium infused into his spine.
