I’m watching all of Daredevil, plus The Defenders, again so I can go right into Born Again and actually remember the major plot points.

And it just occurred to me that the only thing Fisk is trying to do is gentrify Hell’s Kitchen, which is hilarious to me. That there’s a superhero who has devoted his life to preventing the gentrification of his city is really funny.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t agree with pushing out an entire community to replace it with suburbanites who want an urban playground. But I wouldn’t make it my life’s mission to stop it.

Well in fairness to Daredevil, I don't think he'd mind nearly so much if the gentrification didn't involve so many corpses
 
fight scenes on this last episode are ON POINT. shaky cam kept to a minimum. no shitty audio. solid last two episodes. everything else is ON POINT.


fucking glad to have daredevil back!! its my favorite series ever old and now new too.....

Kingpin was like special ed retard crackhead. I thought in the comics he was highly trained skilled martial artist.

Would not have recognized Kamala's dad, but did recognize Swordsman from Kate Bishop.

The Frank and Matt conversation felt like they were back in season two. Frank repeated his "You just dress up in a halloween costume and play the hero while I do what's actually necessary". One of the reactions on youtube said the same thing, that they felt like "Didn't they already have this conversation? Feels bit fan fictiony"

I mean it was a good scene and all, but I thought they'd act a bit different after not seeing each other in like nine years.
