I had zero faith in this project after seeing Disney's version of daredevil in the she-hulk series.

Glad to see at the very least, they understand the tone of the Netflix show that we all loved.

So part of me is kinda happy to see this, but another part of me is like...

Sounds like we can thank the writer's strike in 2023 for this being an actual continuation of the netflix show.

They were in the middle of filming this as a more episodic, lighthearted, soft reboot until the writer's strike forced them to halt production. During that time, decided to scrap the project, release the writers and directors, and make a direct sequel show to the netflix series instead.

This is all news to me since until I saw this trailer today, I thought it was a remake (as originally planned).
