What i find weird is that if current model of casual soft easy to watch storytelling is not working and money is being lost....

Then it would seem smart to try other type of approach, throw it on the wall and see if it sticks go full hardcore, show that relies on writing with moments of heavy violence

They were both set in the MCU but Jeph Loeb was the head of Marvel television while Kevin Feige was the head of Marvel movies. Feige hates Loeb for some reason and there was some kind of powerplay within the company resulting in Feige becoming president and Loeb leaving the company. Shame because imo Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Punisher were better than anything that has come out on Disney Plus.

I'm with the vibe of this thread. Disney can't seem to do anything with these IPs they bought other than ruin them. I wonder how bad those DD episodes must have been for them to do this considering the shite they happily pump out. It must have been truly awful.

The cynical part of me is wondering if it was actually awesome and well written, but didn't check enough boxes for the Disney execs and was too complex for your average Mouse Worshipper.
