Daniel Cormier vs prime Randy Couture

Randy wasn't overrated imo. He was one of the best wrestlers in the game in his era (I can't remember him ever getting outwrestled ever), he had those unique greco roman td's, he was also one of the best gameplanners, he pretty much developed the cage grind style to sap guys energy. He also developed some pretty underrated striking later on in his career. He had a great gas tank. Great chin. And was strong as a fucking gorilla. He was a threat to anybody. Fans learned not to ever bet against the guy. And I'm not sure I'd bet against him vs DC either tbh.
 
DC would ragdoll Couture. He'd make it look like Khabib vs Trujillo is he so wanted.
 
Randy is an All-Time Great. But that was then. DC is a much bigger man and would probably be able to use that size to control Randy.

Randy had a glass chin and was built like a 30 year old when he was 50. Should have been called randy the unnatural couture. He beat Tim Sylvia who gives a shit
 
DC has the superior clinch, striking, top game, BJJ, and probably edges him in power. I think that he'd dictate where the fight went and be more effective the whole way. Probably a late T/KO in a fight that starts competitive but becomes all DC after a round to a round and a half.
 
Lots of dirty boxing and clinch fighting from Randy, DC has the heavier hands. Couldn't tell you who's stronger in the clinch though, Couture had his share of awesome takedowns in his day. That being said DC via heartbreaking stoppage.
 
Randy will make him cry at any weight. I can totally picture they clinch and Randy working dirty boxing and then all of a sudden, picks DC up and slams him like a child on the mat. Classic Randy Couture right there.
 
Does anyone really think Couture would beat Cormier?

Cormier has beat better fighters at LHW and HW.
 
Prime Couture doesn't really have a chance against DC. Could almost go the same way like DC vs Hendo did
